Nemesis Contracting Ltd was founded on 20th February 1971, based on the Companies Law, Chapter 113, as a limited liability company, under the trade name "Nemesis Contractors Ltd", under the registration number E3817, with its seat in Nicosia. On 21st February 2000 it was renamed "Nemesis Contracting Ltd". On 29th July 2000, the company was made public on the basis of Companies Law, Chapter 113. The Company is classified as a Class A company in technical works, on the basis of the Registration and Contractors Control law of 1973. Also, in the special list of pre-qualification of contractors kept in the Public Works Department, the Company is pre-qualified in the 1st Class of technical works, with the right to submit tenders up to 30 million pounds' worth. Nemesis Contracting Ltd is one of eight Cypriot construction companies, pre-registered on the basis of pre-registration on the part of the Department of Public Works in the area of construction of Technical Works. The Company no doubt ranks among the biggest construction Companies in Cyprus and possesses the most modern machinery. It is capable to carry out any kind of road construction work, without the need for renting or using machinery belonging to third parties. This fact is documented by the adduced license A for technical works of the Council of Registration and Control of Contractors as well as the Pre-qualification of the Department of Public Works also adduced.
